Three steps to company-wide information security

How deeply is the topic of information security already embedded in your company? ML Gruppe targets the level of training that your employees need. The three-stage Awareness World system comes with suitable tools and learning methods. The focus is on fun learning and experience.

Stage 1: Creating awareness through awareness essentials

They create the background noise of information security that every company and every organization needs. We use exciting formats to sensitize employees to potential vulnerabilities – from hacking to phishing.

Online live hacking

What actually happens when employees accidentally open an infected file in their email program or fall victim to a cyberattack? Take a live look over the shoulders of our hackers and see in an entertaining way what happens in the background during a hacker attack and where the dangers lie in everyday business life.

E-learning

Newsletter + Secutorial

Out of sight, out of mind? Not thanks to our newsletters and video tutorials. They cover entertaining topics from the world of information security, which you can then send to your company network via e-mail. For us, the focus is on making the secutorials entertaining. Because an “infomail” is only good if it is read and understood.

Example live hacking event

Here we show your employees and information security officers how hackers operate in an exciting and entertaining live demonstration and take a look behind the scenes of cyber attacks. Current attack methods are demonstrated in a clear and understandable way – from infection by encryption Trojans to cracking passwords and intercepting data in public WLANs. In this way, we sensitize your team to how quickly a “wrong click” can become a danger, promote security awareness and provide valuable tips to help you stay one step ahead of cyber attacks in the future.

Stage 2: Deepening knowledge and first simulations

Is awareness no longer a foreign concept in your organization? Then consolidate your employees’ knowledge through our extended measures and give them the opportunity to deal with the topic continuously and through a wide variety of channels.

Phishing tool

We use prepared phishing emails – 100% anonymous and secure – to simulate an emergency and train your employees effectively and measurably on all aspects of information security. Our aim is for every employee to recognize and report fake emails in advance. In addition to the phishing tool, we also provide suitable e-learning courses and learning modules to suit your industry and your employees – including appropriate recommendations for action.

Internal awareness marketing

Information security should inspire and be present at all times. Continuous discussion of the topic is unavoidable if you want to achieve a change in behavior among your employees. Our awareness marketing supports you, for example in the form of films, posters or your own security logo, to make the topic prominent in your organization

Manager sensitization

The topic of information security will only become permanently established in your company if the management team is aware of its importance. Level 3: Pro Awareness

ISMS consulting

Social Pentest

We test your organization for human security gaps beyond your IT. Using simulated and targeted attacks, such as an inspection of your offices as a “supposed employee or craftsman”, we help you to identify the human risk factors in your company and provide you with information on the extent to which information security is already practised in your organization.

Emergency drill

2009 – today, approx. 500 person-days per year nationwide

Performance:

Conception, development, elaboration and implementation of awareness campaigns and awareness-raising measures for all federal authorities
Conception and implementation of workshops / seminars / live hackings
Establishment of information security circles for the exchange of experience
Creation of information material (posters, flyers, brochures)
Programming services, e.g. creation of e-learning modules, explanatory videos and real videos or a digital escape room
In individual cases, specialist training was also provided, which included knowledge of BSI basic protection (200-1, 200-2, 200-3 and 100-4 and 200-4 CD) and technical security (e.g. network and server security under Windows and Linux, mobile security, encryption and electronic signatures)
